Terms of Service

Last updated: 7 August 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Little Gambit at littlegambit.com (the "Service"). Little Gambit is a product of, and is operated by, the sole proprietorship trading as "Miniwright" ("Miniwright", "we", "us"), based in Israel. Miniwright is the seller of record for every purchase made on this site. The operator's legal and registration details are available on request. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

What Little Gambit does

Little Gambit turns your drawings and photos into a personalized chess set: you sketch each piece or upload a photo of a person or pet, the Service generates 3D sculpts of them, and you download print-ready 3D files (for example, 3MF/STL) for the full set to print at home or through any print service. We supply digital files only; we do not manufacture or ship physical sets. When you upload a photo of a person, you confirm you have their permission (or are their parent/guardian); see the Privacy Policy for how photos are handled.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy paid products. Little Gambit accounts are separate from accounts on miniwright.com. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

Set licenses, gifts & billing

The Service is sold as a flat, one-time set license: it covers the generation of one full chess set's sculpts (the included number of sculpts is shown at checkout). A set license can also be bought as a gift code; the recipient redeems the code on their own account and designs their own set. Prices are shown at checkout and may change for future purchases.

Payments are processed securely by PayPal; Miniwright is the seller of record and will appear on your PayPal receipt and statement. We never see or store your full card or bank details. Where we are required to collect sales tax or VAT, it is shown at checkout. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree that you will not use the Service to:

  • break any law or regulation, or infringe anyone's rights;
  • upload, or generate sculpts from, content you do not own or have permission to use, including third-party copyrighted characters, logos, or designs;
  • generate a likeness of a real, identifiable person without their consent, or create content intended to impersonate or deceive;
  • produce content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, or that promotes violence or harm;
  • attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its underlying providers; or
  • resell or redistribute access to the Service without our permission.

Your content & the sculpts you generate

You keep ownership of the drawings you submit ("Inputs"). You grant us a limited license to store and process your Inputs, including sending them to the third-party AI providers we use, solely to operate the Service. As between you and Miniwright, you own the 3D sculpts you generate ("Outputs"), provided you had the rights to the Inputs. Generative AI is imperfect and similar Inputs may produce similar results; we do not guarantee Outputs are unique or free of third-party rights.

Disclaimer & liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with the law. Sections that should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive.

Changes & governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes update the date above. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and the competent courts of Israel have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer-protection law gives you the right to bring proceedings in your own country.
